Faye turns 6 this month. See Faye’s 4 year update from 2010. Faye is experiencing a dark period in her life with the loss of her uncle Midnight. As you will see in further portraits, Faye’s demeanor is mostly downcast. However, despite her emotional turmoil, Faye is in great health. She enjoys chasing ping pong balls and will often be heard playing with them without prompting. With the loss of a playmate, Faye has become more vocal with the humans, often demanding food, water, and cuddles. Her latest habit is scratching at the door, greeting the door butler with a hello, and rolling over twice on the clean carpet.

My brother is currently doing research at the University of Eastern Finland (city of Joensuu). Visiting him is the excuse for this trip. I’ve always been fascinated with the Scandinavian countries so I’m looking forward to immersing myself in the culture and architecture of each city. Will need to learn Icelandic, Finnish, and Swedish.
